  1. Inspirational video! My question on Feb 27 2018: How can I maintain my current fitness and weight level? I bought a new dog last August and began walking regularly with her. My health and flexibility improved as well as my eating habits . However, I seem to be slowly adding some of my old eating habits back into my diet. Thanks!

    If you get your heart rate up to the appropreiate level, can you get the same benefits by doing 6 ten minute workouts in a day as an hour all at once at the same level of intensity?


  3. Great post. Couple of questions:
    1) we know that there are different types of depression, ie, situational and longer-term more chronic and recurring depressive disorders. I know people that have been diagnosed with the later that are regular, habitual exercisers – yet they still struggle with bouts of severe depression. Wondered if the research has taken a look at the different categories and if so, what are the findings?
    2) any advice on how to deal with my 2 parts – one that wants the results of exercise but the other part that doesn’t want to exercise at all! Sounds crazy, doesn’t it?

    • Ha ha GB, not crazy at all. I’m sure many people can identify with your 2 conflicted parts about exercising. Great question about depression, let’s see what Dr. Ratey will say.
